Movie Night

Greetings again from the MBSA!

Your MBSA is hard at work this fall to set up all sorts of fun activities to let you wind down from the stress of the winter semester. Our first event will be our movie night on February 4th at 5:30 location TBD. We will be watching the cinematic masterpiece Jurassic Park. You’ll laugh, you will cry and more than likely someone will get into an argument about the validity of the science behind cloning a dinosaur. We hope to see you all there!

Holidays Cheers and Updates

Hey MBSA Members,

I hope you're all refreshed from the holidays and are ready to take on the new semester. Here's an update on a few projects we are pursuing this semester:

1. David our VP Academics will be compiling a collection of study material from previous students to be a resource that's available for everyone. This will be an ongoing project that we're starting up to help encourage study group. Plus it's a resource that would be useful for everyone.

2. Social events will be held. Tentatively we're working on genetics themed movie nights (think GATTACA), game nights, and all around fun events to help destress during the busy term.

If you guys have any ideas for events, comment below.

So stay tuned, and we'll update for specifics when the details are finalized.

"“I come from under the hill, and under the hills and over the hills my paths led. And through the air, I am he that walks unseen. I am the clue-finder, the web-cutter, the stinging fly. I was chosen for the lucky number. I am he that buries his friends alive and drowns them and draws them alive again from the water. I came from the end of a bag, but no bag went over me. I am the friend of bears and the guest of eagles. I am Ringwinner and Luckwearer; and I am Barrel-rider.” - The Hobbit
